Wauseon experience vs. PH youth

“We have had a really focused season so far,” said Wauseon mentor Shawn Moore of his veteran group. “Guys are coming in each and every day and working hard. Each player is looking to improve daily and trust that their teammates are doing the same.”
The unbeaten 3-0 Indians will meet a 2-1 Patriots bunch that is trying to overcome their youthfulness.
“The bottom line is our offensive line needs to improve,” assessed veteran PH headman Bill Inselmann. “Yes, we’re young, but at the same time we’re making the same mistakes over and over.”

PH puts unbeaten season on line at Bryan

Bill Inselmann’s young Patrick Henry squad will get its toughest test to date when the 2-0 Patriots visit 1-1 Bryan on Friday.
“We’re pleased with how we’re progressing,” said Inselmann. “We’ve had to replace a lot of kids from last season, so we’re young and we see some steady improvement. We’ve looked good at times and we’ve looked young at times.
“At the same time, we have the toughest part of our schedule coming up,” added Inselmann. “We’re really going to have to make some big improvements this week.”
