Streaks trying to keep rolling vs. Delta

Archbold has steamrolled all challengers through the first half of the season and kicks off the second half of the campaign with a jaunt Delta.
The Streaks (5-0, 2-0 NWOAL) have outscored their foes, 186-50, and outgained opponents, 2,113-1,095.
Liberty Center was the latest victim of the No. 3 Streaks (D-VI) last Friday, which resulted in a 41-7 Archbold rout.
“As a whole, I was very impressed with the physicality of our team on all sides of the ball,” said Archbold coach David Dominique.

Delta draws playoff veteran Seneca East

Delta mentor Nate Ruple has the Panthers trending in the right direction a year after finishing 0-10 in his first year at the helm of the program.
Year two has been vastly different with the Panthers posting a 3-3 mark during the regular season. Delta will try to up that win total on Saturday when it visits Seneca East in a Division VI, Region 22 playoff opener.
“Region 22 contains many competitive teams from our local area,” said Ruple. “I could see a scenario where a team from either the NWOAL or the GMC makes it out to the state semifinals.”
